Settings for Microsoft Outlook Print

If your Microsoft Outlook e-mail app asks you to enter e-mail settings manually, you may find the following information helpful. The 'name of each setting' is followed by the required setting or a description.

'Choose Service'    Select: POP or IMAP

'Your Name:'    Enter your sender name as you would like it to appear in messages that you send. Example: John Doe.
'Email Address:'    Enter your full e-mail address. Example: johnd@example.com.
'Account Type:'    Select IMAP from dropdown box
'Incoming mail server:'    Enter: mail.abhost.net
'Outgoing mail server (SMTP):'    Enter mail.abhost.net
'User Name:'    Enter your full email address.
'Password:'    Your password was assigned by your mail administrator. If you are your domain's mail admin your password was assigned by A B Host.
'Require logon using Secure Password Authentication'    Leave un-checked.

More settings:
   Outgoing Server tab:
   'My outgiong server (SMTP) requires authentication'    check this box
   'Use same settings as my incoming mail server'    select this item
  
'Require Secure Password Authentication'    leave un-checked

   Advanced tab:
   'Incoming server (IMAP) port number'    Enter: 143
   'type of encrypted connection:'    Select: STARTTLS or TLS only
   'Outgoing server (SMTP) port number'    Enter 587
   'type of encrypted connection:'    Select: STARTTLS or TLS only
