A B Host has deprecated support for the File Transfer Protocol (FTP).
Because FTP sends clear-text usernames and passwords over public networks. It also does not enforce encryption, so third parties can attack the transmitted data. Because FTP transfers files on multiple ports which vary, using FTP makes it difficult to securely configure your firewalls.
We recommend that you use transfer methods that use encryption, such as the SSH, WebDAV or cPanel’s File Manager interface (cPanel >> Home >> Files >> File Manager).
